Welcome to the
Sokaogon Chippewa Community

NEW Tribal IDs were approved by the SCC Tribal Council, on 1-27-10.

The cards are ready for programming when MOUs are signed between tribes to purchase (for example, gas) at each other’s C-Stores, and
They have an ‘expiration’ date which is five (5) years in duration; for example, your ID purchase ($10) on 3-2-2010, is current until 3-2-2015.

These IDs are in compliance with the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security directives.

Tribal Nations throughout the United States have worked together for at least the last seven (7) years, with Tribal Data Resources (TDR)—our Enrollment software developer, the U.S Dept. of Homeland Security, Tribal Enrollment departments, and our Tribal IT departments, to meet our Tribal member ID needs and to create IDs that are compliant with the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security directives.

Mii-gwetch, for your support of the continuing Enrollment Dept./Tribal Enrollment Committee fundraisers: From the last enrollment training attended on 2/15-18/2010, our Tribal Enrollment Committee member went to the San Diego “Enrollment Survival Skills” training & brought back important information that we needed to know & use.
